Engineering Discipline-Wise Vacancies in BHEL:
- Mechanical Engineering: 70 posts
- Electrical Engineering: 25 posts
- Electronics Engineering: 20 posts
(Other disciplines like Civil, Chemical, and Metallurgy are also available with specific vacancies.)
Eligibility Criteria
- Education:
Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or a five-year integrated Master’s/Dual Degree program in the relevant discipline from a recognized Indian university/institute. - Age Limit:
- General: 27 years (as of 01/02/2025)
- Candidates with postgraduate qualifications: 29 years
- Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
Important Dates for BHEL Engineer Trainee Notification 2025:
- Application Start Date: 1st February 2025 (10:00 AM)
- Application End Date: 28th February 2025
- Examination Dates: 11th, 12th, and 13th April 2025
Selection Process for Engineer Trainee Jobs in BHEL:
- Computer-Based Examination (CBE): 75% weightage
- Interview: 25% weightage
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview in a 1:5 ratio based on CBE marks.
Training and Emoluments
- Training Period: 1 year
- Stipend: ₹50,000 per month during training.
- Post-Training: Absorption as Engineer in the scale of ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000 with an annual CTC of approximately ₹12 lakhs.
- Additional benefits include dearness allowance, medical facilities, provident fund, and more.

- General/EWS/OBC: ₹600 (Examination Fee) + ₹400 (Processing Fee) + applicable GST.
- SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen: ₹400 (Processing Fee) + applicable GST.
