About the Role

In this role, you’ll collaborate with experts to optimize hardware performance, improve efficiency, and develop innovative technologies that redefine user experiences.Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve silicon-related issues during post-silicon validation to support production scaling.
- Partner with design and validation teams to diagnose and address system-level challenges.
- Coordinate with internal and external engineering teams to conduct part screening, analyze returns, and finalize release approvals.
- Gather and interpret data from post-silicon testing to drive quality and yield improvements.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members while contributing to technical problem-solving efforts.
Minimum Qualifications for Google Silicon Debug Engineer Posts:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in C programming.
- Hands-on experience with developing silicon validation tests and debugging post-silicon issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with embedded software development and associated tool chains.
- Familiarity with Android, Embedded Linux, RTOSes, or bare-metal software.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
