Details of the Job
- Position: Embedded Engineer (C++, Linux/Android)
- Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Experience Required: 3 - 7 years
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Reporting to: Engineering Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, release, and maintain embedded software for various vehicle architectures.
- Perform design and code reviews to ensure high-quality coding standards.
- Investigate, debug, and resolve customer-reported issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to plan, identify risks, and deliver product features.
- Contribute to project documentation, including requirements, design, and test plans.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in developing production-quality C++ software.
- Strong expertise in C++ programming for Linux/POSIX-based systems.
- Experience with modern development methodologies (Agile, Git, unit testing, static analysis, code review, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with C and Python.
- Familiarity with automotive networking protocols (CAN, Ethernet, UDS, SOME/IP, etc.).
- Knowledge of IoT technologies (MQTT, gRPC, HTTPS, OTA updates, telemetry, etc.).
- Experience with collaboration and development tools like Bazel, JIRA, Confluence, Google Test.
