Embedded Systems Jobs in India: Apple is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will collaborate closely with hardware engineers to design and maintain hardware test suites for Apple's mobile products, including the next generation iPhone. As a local technical expert at manufacturing sites in India, you will play a pivotal role in specifying, implementing, and debugging stress tests for new products under development.
Apple Embedded Software Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, debug, and integrate new tests for integrated chipsets such as Baseband, application processors, and PMUs.
- Support product development builds and collaborate with hardware and software engineers to resolve hardware issues identified during testing.
- Engage early with design teams to formulate and implement comprehensive test plans.
- Potential for international and domestic travel as required.
Minimum Qualifications for Apple Embedded Software Engineer Jobs:
- Over 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, Python, or Lua.
- Demonstrated experience in programming, testing, and debugging embedded devices.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of digital communication protocols, including PCIe, SPMI, I2C, and RFFE.
- Familiarity with laboratory test equipment like logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Experience in manufacturing environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of wireless communication systems such as Cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and UWB is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
