Chetak Embedded Software Integration Engineer Job Profile
The Embedded Software Integration Engineer will work closely with the hardware development team to configure BAL proprietary architecture on an ECU, based on application needs. The role involves:
✅ Decomposing application requirements into multiple functional blocks and defining their interfaces.
✅ Partitioning functional requirements into implementation blocks and analytically deriving execution priority.
✅ Supporting function development teams by creating low-level code, S-functions, and re-usable modules to enhance CPU utilization.
✅ Incorporating S-functions into Matlab-Simulink for function development.
✅ Configuring the build tool-chain and supporting basic validation before function development.
✅ Debugging vehicle-level issues and performing root cause analysis during function development.
✅ Creating and releasing software for ECU, collaborating closely with function development, test, and validation teams.
Required Skills & Expertise
🔹 Microcontroller-based development using compilers/debuggers
🔹 Strong knowledge of Embedded C and low-level driver development
🔹 Experience with CAN-based networks and RTOS concepts
🔹 At least 3 years of experience in Matlab, Simulink, and Stateflow
🔹 Sound understanding of auto-code generation using Embedded Coder
🔹 Ability to customize code generation as per project requirements
🔹 Exposure to scripting languages like Python or Perl
🔹 Familiarity with software configuration management tools (SVN/GIT), defect tracking tools, and peer reviews
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
⭐ Experience with AutoSAR-based design philosophy
⭐ Functional testing on hardware
⭐ Exposure to CMMi/ASPICE practices
⭐ Understanding of ECU software’s role in vehicle operations
⭐ Knowledge of control strategies for electrical machines & battery management
⭐ Experience with automotive data acquisition tools (Vector, Intrepid, etc.)
⭐ Familiarity with ECU calibration & measurement using INCA

Salary range for Embedded Engineer jobs in Bajaj Auto Technology Ltd is Rs.12 lakhs to Rs.20 lakhs.
