Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software applications and middleware for automotive platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and firmware developers for seamless system integration.
• Implement low-level programming, device drivers, and kernel modifications.
• Optimize software performance to enhance system efficiency.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation to meet automotive industry standards.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to software documentation.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex embedded software issues.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in embedded software and automotive systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in embedded software development, particularly with Linux and RTOS like FreeRTOS.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Embedded C, Shell scripting, and Python.
• Experience with Linux middleware, kernel, device drivers, and application development.
• Proficiency in multithreading and multiprocessing programming.
• Familiarity with SDLC tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Passion for innovation and exploring new technologies.

Salary for Embedded Software Development Jobs:

Approximate salary is Rs.2 lakhs to Rs.9 lakhs
