Role & Responsibilities:
- Read hardware/software design specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Develop architectural and design documentation with a focus on software engineering, memory optimization, and speed.
- Implement firmware for bare-metal/RTOS environments and develop Linux kernel drivers and applications.
- Conduct unit and integration testing.
- Utilize Yocto build tools, AMD Xilinx Vitis IDE tools, and AMD Xilinx Vivado for hardware-software co-design.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
- 3 - 6 years of experience in embedded Linux and software development.
- Proficiency in C programming, Linux device trees, and Linux/bare-metal/RTOS driver development.
- Experience with Embedded Linux, Yocto, make, Python, Pytest, and version control tools like Git and Perforce.
- Strong debugging skills for kernel and user space with exposure to various debugging tools.
- Familiarity with PCIe driver development, DMA client/controller drivers, and embedded SoC and board hardware.
- Verilog and hardware design knowledge is a plus.
- Self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
