Engineering Freshers Internship in Pune: Plug Power Inc. is offering an exciting E&I Internship opportunity for freshers in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering. This role is ideal for candidates eager to gain hands-on experience in engineering and manufacturing environments while working on real-world projects related to hydrogen energy systems. As an intern, you will assist the Electrical Engineering team in technical projects, process improvements, and documentation while developing a strong understanding of Plug Power’s products.

• Job Type: Full-time
• Experience: Freshers (BE/BTech in Electrical/Instrumentation)
• Salary Range: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Learning Objectives

During this internship, you will gain knowledge in:

• Understanding Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) & Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
• Instrument selection for hydrogen service applications
• The impact of region-specific codes and standards on instrumentation
• Control system selection & designing system architecture for Gigawatt plants
• Performing instrument calculations (e.g., level calculations, control valve CV & wake frequency analysis)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Plug Power products
• Assist senior engineers in data interpretation and analysis
• Contribute to engineering process improvements under senior guidance
• Set up and monitor engineering experiments independently
• Apply engineering concepts to real-world projects
• Analyze data related to system performance and reliability
• Maintain a professional approach while representing Plug Power
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BE/BTech) in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and complex projects effectively
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
• Self-motivated, driven, and committed to high-quality work
