Job Role: Robot Software Engineer
Key Responsibilities
✅ Software Development:
- Develop and maintain robotics and automation software using Python and C++.
- Implement modular, efficient, and reusable code.
✅ System Design & Testing:
- Work with cross-functional teams to define software requirements.
- Test and debug robotic systems on both simulated and physical platforms.
- Ensure software reliability and real-time performance.
✅ Collaboration & Documentation:
- Integrate software with hardware and robotics systems.
- Maintain detailed documentation of designs, code, and workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and agile development cycles.
✅ Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with ROS2, Python, C++, and Docker advancements.
- Optimize software for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Required Qualifications
🎓 Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or Engineering.
💻 Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for production-level development.
- Expertise in ROS2, including RViz, Gazebo, rclcpp/rclpy, and middleware.
- Strong knowledge of real-time systems, multithreading, and object-oriented design.
- Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
✔️ Experience in robotic sensor integration (LiDAR, cameras, etc.).
✔️ Familiarity with ROS2 middleware (FastDDS, CycloneDDS).
✔️ Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems and Docker.
✔️ Exposure to Agile methodologies (Jira, Asana).
