Firmware Engineer – Expro | Hyderabad, India
Expro Group is hiring a Firmware Engineer for its Hyderabad location. This is a full-time role where the selected candidate will be responsible for embedded software development, including firmware design, integration, and testing for high-value products. The role requires expertise in C/C++, microcontroller programming, and communication protocols such as UART, USB, CAN, and Ethernet.
Expro Embedded Firmware Engineer Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ECE/EEE/CSE) or a related field.
- Experience: Relevant hands-on experience in embedded firmware development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop firmware for embedded systems using C/C++.
- Implement and test firmware modules for microcontroller-based applications.
- Work with UART, USB, CAN, Ethernet/TCP/IP protocols.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance optimizations.
- Collaborate with the project manager and engineering team to deliver projects on time.
- Follow coding standards, best practices, and quality control measures.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong programming skills in C and C++ for embedded systems.
- Expertise in microcontroller firmware development.
- Familiarity with software design methodologies (UML).
- Experience with static analysis tools, unit testing, and scripting languages.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
